“Whatever you seek is not outside of you.”
There are moments in life when a single sentence changes everything.
For me, it was this:
These words reverberated through my body after months of begging and pleading for answers in my soul's search for peace, calm, and clarity.
Months before that moment, I felt trapped. Stuck in a cycle of nervous system dysregulation. I was a teacher, and I loved my students and the profession dearly, but it had begun to take a toll on me physically, mentally, and emotionally.
What I was witnessing within the classroom became a blueprint for my own internal world.
Chaos. Every. Single. Day.
These little bodies were carrying so much—anxiety, overwhelm, fear, anger, sadness, and grief.
One little boy was carrying the weight of his mother's cancer diagnosis and his father's passing. Another was putting on the armour necessary to stay strong for his family because his parents were burnt out from working two jobs while raising a full house. Another little girl was desperately begging to be seen and cared for because her mom was lost in her own insecurities and despair.
As it felt as though my classroom was crumbling, so too was my inner world.
The violence that unfolded within the classroom awakened post-traumatic memories of the violence I experienced in my own home as a child. My body became locked in the freeze response. Then, after my second miscarriage that year, I finally broke.
While meditating one day, these words came to me:
"Whatever you seek is not outside of you."
From that moment on, I chose to live by them.
The love I had so desperately sought from my mom, I began to give to myself.
The value I wished others saw in me, I started to recognize within myself.
The safety I had spent my life searching for, I slowly learned to cultivate from within.
During my mental health leave, I began rebuilding my internal compass. I reconnected with the tools, practices, and experiences that made me feel most like myself—most like home.
Within that pause, I realized something I never expected.
I couldn't go back to teaching.
Not because I had stopped loving it, but because I could no longer pour from an empty cup.
I couldn't save every little human who walked through my classroom doors.
I had to begin by saving myself.
So I made one of the hardest—and most meaningful—decisions of my life. I returned to school to complete my Master's in Counselling Psychology.
Along the way, I learned invaluable tools to support not only others, but myself. I rediscovered a spark, a passion, and a deep sense of purpose. Helping others no longer felt like something I simply did—it became the path I was meant to walk.
My vision is to help others discover what safety within truly feels like. To support them in coming home to themselves and remembering that the strength, wisdom, and healing they seek have been within them all along.
Through each of my services, I hope to extend that ripple of healing even further—supporting individuals while also giving back to the communities around me.
I am deeply honoured that you have chosen to journey into the remembering of who you truly are, and I am grateful to walk alongside you in whatever way I can.
Because the peace, safety, love, clarity, and wisdom you seek are not outside of you.
They have been within you all along.
Welcome home.
Ways We Can Support
Your Journey Home
A Process of Remembering the Wisdom Within
Sometimes we don't need someone to tell us what to do, we need someone to help us reconnect with who we are, clarify what matters most, and take meaningful action.
My one-to-one coaching sessions are designed to help you move from feeling stuck to feeling aligned. Together, we'll explore your goals, identify the beliefs and patterns that may be holding you back, and create practical, sustainable steps that support the life you're working toward.
Whether you're navigating a life transition, building confidence, creating healthier habits, managing ADHD in everyday life, or simply looking for greater clarity and direction, coaching provides a supportive space to reflect, grow, and move forward.
Each session is personalized to your goals and may include evidence-informed education, reflective exercises, values exploration, accountability, mindfulness practices, and actionable strategies you can apply between sessions.
Coaching may be a good fit if you are looking to:
Gain clarity around your goals and next steps
Build confidence and self-trust
Create sustainable routines and habits
Navigate life transitions
Better understand your ADHD strengths and challenges
Strengthen boundaries and relationships
Develop greater self-awareness and resilience
Align your daily actions with your values
Please note: Coaching is not psychotherapy and is not intended to diagnose or treat mental health conditions. If you're seeking treatment for anxiety, depression, trauma, or another mental health concern, psychotherapy may be a more appropriate service.
A compassionate space to explore, heal, and grow.
Life can feel overwhelming at times. Whether you're experiencing anxiety, ADHD, burnout, relationship challenges, low self-worth, perfectionism, or simply feeling stuck, you don't have to navigate it alone.
Psychotherapy offers a safe, supportive, and confidential space to better understand yourself, explore the patterns that have shaped your experiences, and develop practical tools for meaningful and lasting change.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in both research and compassion. Rather than asking, "What's wrong with you?" I believe in exploring "What has happened to you?" and "What do you need to move forward?"
Together, we'll work to understand your thoughts, emotions, behaviours, relationships, and nervous system responses while building skills that help you feel more connected to yourself and the life you want to create.
I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, self-compassion, attachment theory, somatic awareness, and polyvagal-informed practices. Every session is tailored to your unique goals, experiences, and strengths.
Psychotherapy may be a good fit if you're looking for support with:
Anxiety and chronic stress
ADHD and executive functioning challenges
Self-esteem and self-compassion
Burnout and perfectionism
Emotional regulation
Relationship and family concerns
Life transitions
Women's mental health
Personal growth and greater self-understanding
Healing isn't about becoming someone different.
It's about creating enough safety to reconnect with who you've always been.
I would be honoured to walk alongside you on that journey.
